The 24th Annual Mad Dash 5K Walk/Run & 10K Run, sponsored by Sugarbush Resort, takes place in the scenic Mad River Valley. The Mad Dash offers two run distances with various age groups, a 5K walk and the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Kid's Fun Run. The course winds along a quiet back country road offering majestic views, colorful meadows and a covered bridge.
Enjoy the hospitality of our community as runners are greeted by our volunteers upon arrival. Registration includes a race shirt, homemade lunch, refreshments and our valley's wonderful live entertainment. All participants are entered in our prize raffle and a silent auction features wonderful items from our local businesses. For those coming from outside the area, make it an enjoyable weekend as the Mad River Valley offers great outdoor fun, hiking, river swims, local restaurants and more. The event benefits the Mad River Path Association which offers miles of great walks in our scenic valley.
All registrations/donations benefit the Mad River Path Association, funding the expansion and upkeep of our many country paths. The Mad River Path Association is a member-supported, 501(C)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to build, maintain, and conserve a system of continuous public pathways from Warren to Moretown fostering a healthy community by connecting the people, businesses and special places of the Mad River Valley.
