Handing Out Flyers High Priority

Details

We will need quite of few volunteers to hand out flyers three weeks prior to the race. We will be going around to all the residential neighbors and letting them know via flyers that there will be a race coming through the neighborhood. It requires a lot of walking. We will be meeting at the High Stadium to divide and conquer. This task will most likely take about 2 hours and we will start at 1:00pm and end about 3:30pm on this particular day.

Hello,
Thank you signing up for volunteering for the Ripons RUN. You are signing up to be on the course during the race event. These jobs includes course monitoring, traffic flow control, helping out keeping our runners/walkers safe on the course and redirecting traffic. This will also include cheering our runners/walkers and to be motivating for them as well.

Race Day Volunteer - In the Stadium High Priority

Hello,

You are volunteering for Ripons RUN inside the Ripon High School Stadium. We are needing volunteers to help setup and take down of all the booths and equipment. In addition, we will need people to be handing out medals at the finish line as well. We do need people at 4am in which we will have to get the stadium setup in time to take on race day registration as well as hand out packet pickup.

Medical Aid Volunteer

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

There will be 5 medical aid station on the course and 1 roving medical EMT on the course.
The requirement is that you must be a EMT, Nurse/ DR / Paramedic / Certified First Aid Responder. Students in the medical field in the above areas will be accepted and will be assigned to a qualify personal. Depending on your skills we will need to place you.

We will also have one medical tent inside the stadium.

Course Setup High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

We will need a few volunteers to rise up early in the morning to help us set the course with A-Frame and course marker signs.
