Details

Set up: task includes helping set up stations, signs, course markers, tents, and banners.

Registration: task includes handing out athlete t-shirts, bibs, and instructing athletes where the start of the race is.

Aid station: task includes filling cups with water,handing items out to athletes as they run by, and clean up station area/road.

Course monitors: task includes ensuring athletes are safely running, monitoring traffic at key intersections, direct athletes along the course, and cheering athletes along the course.

Parking coordinator: help athletes park and direct to registration/start of race area.

Finish line: task includes handing out water, directing athletes to post-race activities.

Post-Race Food station: task includes set of food/refreshment station and serving athletes.

Clean up: task includes helping break everything down from tables and chairs to taking trash to appropriate area. Loading everything back into trucks.

Lead/Tail Bikers: task includes pace the way for lead athletes, ensuring a course clearing, and following the final finisher.

Age restriction for certain tasks and limits for lifting heavy objects. Volunteers younger than 18 should have their parents sign a waiver authorizing participation. An adult lead should be placed alongside the younger volunteers.
