Race Day Volunteers

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 20 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers ages 18 and older may expect to be assigned any of the following tasks and others as deemed necessary:

-- Registering participants, distributing bibs and T-shirts, and answering questions.

-- Handing cups of water to racers at water stations along the course (some may request that you throw water on them to cool them down as they go by).

-- Preparing refreshments for participants and guests, replenishing food and drinks, and overseeing the proper disposition of trash and recycling of used products.

-- Handing bottles of water to racers after they cross the finish line.

-- Cheering racers along the course.

Spirit Squad

At least 30 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need lots of people along the course to cheer on the runners and walkers! This is a crucial task open to volunteers of all ages. All we ask is that participants 15 and younger be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons.
