Dance Team & Cheerleader Sign Up High Priority

At least 20 more volunteers needed.

Details

We are excited to invite dance teams and cheerleading groups to volunteer at the 2025 Samantha’s Purpose Run, Walk & Stroll 2K for Cerebral Palsy Awareness. These volunteers will play an essential role in creating an energetic, supportive, and celebratory atmosphere for participants at key moments throughout the event.

Dance and cheer volunteers will be stationed at the START LINE to cheer on participants as the event begins, creating an exciting and encouraging send-off for all walkers, runners, and strollers. Their enthusiasm will set the tone for a positive and memorable experience for everyone. After the race begins, they will move to the FINISH LINE, where they will cheer for participants as they complete the 2K and assist in handing out finisher medals, ensuring every participant feels recognized and celebrated for their achievement.

While volunteers are not required to wear their performance uniforms, we kindly ask that they wear t-shirts, sweatshirts or team gear that identify their dance team or cheerleading group. This helps showcase their group’s involvement and builds a sense of community pride.

By volunteering, dance and cheer teams will have the opportunity to spread joy, support inclusion, and make a meaningful impact on participants and their families, especially those with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. Your presence will help create an unforgettable event and inspire the community to come together in support of a great cause.
