Course Marshall

Details

A Course Marshall is responsible for guiding and encouraging the participants around the course, warning them of any obstacles or hazards, and ensuring that other park users are aware of the event. They are also responsible for ensuring that the runners have a safe run and that no vehicular traffic (other than official vehicles) enters the course. Course marshals are placed at specific locations on the course that are key for the race.

Packet Prep

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

You will assemble all race day packets before packet pick-up. This will either be July 6 or 7, 2024. The location is TBD.

Hydration Station Attendant

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Race volunteers will pass out water and/or other fluids to make sure the runners stay hydrated.

Finish Line Volunteers

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Race Volunteers will be responsible for keeping runners moving efficiently through the finish line, directing runners to the post-race area where they can wait for friends and family members, get their Finisher's picture taken, and retrieve their Medals. Duties also may include passing out bottled water and setting up refreshments at the finish line.

Race Day Registration Table

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will be responsible for pre-registration and race day registration tables. Pre-registration table- Individuals who did not pick up their packets before race day but are registered in RunSignup for the race. The race-day registration table will be for individuals that did not register yet.

Packet Pick-up

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Volunteers will distribute race packets to participants before race day. This will usually be on Friday, July 12, 2024. Location is TBD

Cheer Squad

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need your help getting participants hyped. A warm smile, chants, and screams are welcomed to keep participants motivated.

Kids Zone

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist the Youth Activities with setup and breakdown and monitoring youth and race day activities with the children.
