The Candler Park Fall Fest Freaky 5K & Fun Run is a family-friendly race through one of Atlanta’s most scenic and historic neighborhoods! Held during the vibrant Candler Park Fall Fest weekend, this event offers something for everyone — from seasoned runners to first-timers.
The 5K is an AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. The untimed Fun Run is perfect for kids and families.
Post-race festivities include music, food, and access to the Candler Park Fall Fest.
All proceeds support the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization and the Candler Park Conservancy in their efforts to preserve and improve Candler Park — one of Atlanta's largest, oldest and most popular city parks.

Costume Contest
The Costume Contest, a nod to the unique vibe of the Candler Park neighborhood, returns in 2025.
The contest is open to all 5K and Fun Run participants.
Prizes will be awarded for the best Group (2 or more), Individual Male, and Individual Female Costumes.
Come dressed in your funky, freaky, fabulous best!

2025 Candler Park Fall Fest
The Candler Park Fall Fest features over a hundred vendors, great local musicians, food, and children’s entertainment.
5K and Fun Run participants are invited to redeem their race number at the Festival on race morning for a complimentary beer or soft drink.
