Details

Traffic Marshals play an important role for ensuring the safety of participants by staffing low activity intersections. These volunteers are stationed along the course and have the opportunity to see and cheer on runners.

**TRAINING REQUIRED**

Training will be at the Princeton Police Department the week prior to the race and include detailed info about each post.

TRAINING WILL BE AT THE PRINCETON POLICE DEPARTMENT, 1 Valley Road, Princeton.
Volunteers must attend one of the following sessions:
Tuesday, October 29th @ 6:30 PM
Saturday, November 2nd @ 9 AM

Volunteers in Headquarters sell merchandise and answer questions from runners, spectators and sponsors attending the event. From questions about parking and porta-potties, to course particulars—these volunteers are the most informed!

Victory Village Setup

Victory Village volunteers will help ensure vendors have what they need and assist in setting up tables, signage and the main stage for the final award ceremony. Some moderate lifting may be required.

After the medal ceremony, this team of volunteers helps to transform Victory Village and the Start/Finish Line in the downtown area back to business-as-usual as quickly as possible. Some moderate lifting required.

Start Line Volunteer

Details

Be the first on the scene! Setup the Start Line and organize runners into corrals to assist with the race start. After runners start, volunteers are needed to transform the Start Line to the Finish Line. Handout finisher medals and guide runners through the finish chute to the medic tent and/or food tent.

Assist in transforming the start line to the finish line.

Handout finisher medals and cheer runners as they cross the finish line! Guide runners through the Finish Chute towards water, food or medical assistance.

Assist in breaking down Finish Line items so that roads can reopen.

Pace Official

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Two teams of Pace Officials work at official cutoff points on the course. Pace Officials will escort runners outside the time limit to transportation that will return them to the Victory Village area. This position ensures the safety of our runners and supports the police as they open roads to traffic.

Details

Cyclists are the eyes and ears of the race - riding in front of, within and behind the pack of runners. Cyclists lead the runners and watch for any issues and alert authorities if necessary.

**TRAINING REQUIRED**

Race Route Clean Up Team

Responsible for collecting/recycling any items left along the streets, trails and neighborhoods—ensuring the route is clean, and ready to reopen. This position requires some walking and minor lifting.

Bag Drop Volunteer

The bag drop provides runners a place to leave their important things while they race. Bag drop volunteers will check in the runner's bag before the race and will retrieve it when the runner returns. Volunteers with an attention to detail are best suited for this role.

Medical Team

Details

A small but elite medical team is needed to provide race and post-race support for 1500 runners. We’re looking for State Certified/Licensed MDs, DOs, PAs, DPMs, ARNPs, RNs, ATCs, PTs, LMTs, and EMTs to volunteer for the entire event. Medical Team staff stationed at the Start/Finish will assist in setting up the medical tent.

Pack Pickup Race Day
