Registration & Check-In volunteer duties may include:
- Providing runners with their race packets (race number, t-shirt, goodie bag)
- Using registration software to check-in and register runners utilizing RunSignUp's easy-to-use software
- Answering of basic race-related questions

This position may require some light lifting up to 30 lbs.

All volunteers will receive a free entry to one of select future CRC-owned races.

Finish Line Area

Be the first to greet our 5K and 9 Miler finishers as they cross the finish line!

Finish line area volunteer duties may include:
- Medal distribution - unwrapping medals, organizing on tables, and rewarding runners for their accomplishment!
- Water distribution - helping tired runners stay hydrated after they finish
- Results assistance - helping the results team prepare quickly for post-race awards by utilizing tested back-up timing techniques. Good penmanship is a plus, and excellent focus and listening skills are key.

This position may require some light lifting up to 30 lbs.

All volunteers will receive a free entry to one of select future CRC-owned races.

Aid Station #1

Aid station #1 is located on the connector path between Cooper Rd and the Alum Creek bike path just north of St. Ann's hospital and would be great for groups!

Aid station volunteer duties may include:

-Filling water cups
-Cheering and encouraging runners
-Handing out water cups to passing runners
-Cleaning up and breaking down the area after the last runners passes by

This position may require some moderate lifting up to 40 lbs, and you will likely get a bit wet so wear old shoes and clothing that can take a little bit of water.

All volunteers will receive a free entry to one of select future CRC-owned races.

Aid Station #2

Aid station #2 is located on the Alum Creek bike path near the western parking lot of the Chase building at 800 Brooksedge Blvd (43081) and would be great for groups!

Aid station volunteer duties may include:

-Filling water cups
-Cheering and encouraging runners
-Handing out water cups to passing runners
-Cleaning up and breaking down the area after the last runners passes by

Aid station #3 is located on the Alum Creek bike path at the very southern edge of James O Casto Park. From Westerville Rd, turn east on Old Dublin Granville Rd and head all the way back to the parking area. The aid station is here at the turn (just past 3496 E Dublin Granville Rd (43081)) and would be great for groups!

9 Miler Course Sweeper

You must be 21 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

An important role in the safety and logistics chain, our course sweepers will be the final finishers on the day. Our 9-mile course has no minimum time limit, though past years have seen our final finisher complete the course in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Course sweepers will be responsible for staying behind the final 9-mile run participants, using our mobile app RaceJoy to stay in contact with race officials at the finish line with respect to current position and any on-course issues while they traverse the route.

All course sweeper volunteers will receive free entry into the Choo Choo 9 Miler and a free entry to one of select future CRC-owned races.

Must be aged 21 or over to serve in this role.
