Packet Pickup Volunteers will be assigned a specific position along with further instruction once you check in with our Volunteer Coordinator. This could be a variety of tasks – information booth, checking in participants, handing out shirts, etc.... volunteers will also receive an email with additional information within the week of the race. Gear Check Medium Priority

WATER STOPS (SATURDAY)

Water Stops High Priority

October 28, 2023

Details

Water Stop Volunteers will manage the assigned aid station by distributing water & sport drink to runners as they pass by. You will check in at your water stop at 6:30AM. More detailed information will be provided closer to race day. Any questions please email laurie@route66marathon.com

First Aid High Priority

First Aid Volunteers will be responsible for basic First Aid assistance at each Water Stop & contacting emergency personnel if needed. Any questions please email laurie@route66marathon.com

COURSE (SATURDAY)

Course Marshals Low Priority

Run Course Marshals are responsible for offering direction to participants to make sure they are staying on course. Please check weather beforehand and dress appropriately. More detailed information will be provided closer to race day. Any questions please email laurie@route66marathon.com

Finish Line Volunteers High Priority

Finish Line Volunteers will be assigned a specific duty once they check in at the finish line. Duties will include handing out water to finishers, handing out medals, handing out food, etc...
