Volunteers will assist the GCXC staff in checking in the participants, and distributing race swag and bibs. Volunteers should be fun and energetic. They should also be comfortable with a high-paced environment and have basic computer literacy.

Details

Volunteers will assist the GCXC staff in helping the participants park in appropriate locations. Volunteers will work in pairs, wear appropriate safety vests and should be comfortable being assertive with the participants as they instruct them where to park.

Volunteers will set up the water stop, pass out water and cheer on the runners, and then break down the stop when the runners are done.

Details

Volunteers will be placed in pairs at certain points along the course and will instruct the runners where to run next. Volunteers will also be in charge of keeping outside vehicles off of the course as well as cheering on the runners as they go by.
