Set Up

The role of our set-up volunteers will be responsible for assisting the race staff and race director in setting up the aid station table, the packet pickup table, assembling race packets, and post race awards or medals. These individuals should be able to drive, lift at least 50 pounds, and have a hop to it attitude. In the event these hours occur prior to daylight hours please be equipped with a headlamp and any other apparel needs depending on the setting (indoor or outdoor / cold rainy)

Packet Pickup

Details

The race day packet and bib pickup volunteer will be responsible for passing out race bibs, apparel that was ordered, and timing tags and straps. For the majority of our events we will be using the race day check in app that can be downloaded with Android or Apple here:

When you open the app you will be able to do a simple search by typing in the race name. It will then prompt you for a password which will be included in the race email sent out by our volunteer coordinator the week of the event.

Cook / Food Prep

Details

We will have designated meals that will be prepared for our runners at various times. Participants can purchase a meal ticket during registration. Must be comfortable cooking using electric and or gas powered grills. Your duties will be to prepare the food during those specific periods (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). The items being prepared are “basic” in nature so no need to have a degree in the culinary arts to whip up a hamburger or potato wedges.

Tear Down

Details

The role of our tear-down volunteers will be assisting our race staff and race director in quickly but cleanly packing up timing equipment, the aid station, and any other staging area materials like cones or tents. These individuals should be able to drive, lift at least 50 pounds, and have a hop to it attitude. In the event these hours occur prior to daylight hours please be equipped with a headlamp and any other apparel needs depending on the setting (indoor or outdoor / cold rainy)

Finish Line Participant Management + Sweep

Details

Assist with collecting bib numbers, handing out finisher medals, and then sweeping the 1.5 Mile course for arrows!
