National Anthem Singer

Details

Sing National Anthem before the start of the race. Check in with the race announcer before the start of the Half Marathon at 7:30am.

Fiesta Decorations-Day of the Race

Decorate Mission County Park on race day.

This could be a running position. Arrive early to help decorate and then you can participate in the event.

Grill Master

Details

Grill up some Kiolbassa sausages for race participants. All supplies will be provided.

Parking Marshal

We need a few volunteers to assist with parking.
Limit parking closest to race start for vendors and setup volunteers. Assist other runners in finding parking.
This could be a running position. You could help until you have to start your event.

Course Support

Water Stop #1

April 13, 2025

Details

You will provide water and encouragement to runners on the course. We encourage volunteers to dress or decorate their aid station in fiesta theme.

You may need to drive to your location and bring back supplies once all runners have passed the water stop.

Please be at water stop at 8AM. Please carry your cell phone.

Location

Check in at Mission County Park with Volunteer Coordinator before heading to your water stop.

This water stop supports all three events 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. Water Stop #1 is located on Mission Parkway. You will setup next to the parking lot. Bring chairs and music if you'd like. Google link to the location is https://maps.app.goo.gl/fCiJRQh3zdQzJAsC8

Water Stop #2

Details

You will provide water and encouragement to runners on the course. We encourage volunteers to dress or decorate their aid station in fiesta theme.

This water stop supports the 10K and Half Marathon.

Water Stop #3 is for Half Marathoners only. In addition to water, you will have GU and pickles available for the runners. You will be located at 2759 Camino Coahuilteca. There are restrooms nearby. Assist with teardown of tents and race start/finish line area and prepare them for placing in the SARR trailer

Details

Assist with unloading race supplies from trailer.
Setup tables, tents, set out trash cans, setup phot backdrops, and other tasks as instructed by the race director.

Help prep / serve food and drinks for runners after they finish the race. Ensure table is re-stocked as each race completes and that there is adequate food and drinks for half marathon finishers.
