Arrive by 7:15 am, check in with the volunteer coordinator, and meet the RRRC truck/finish line staff.

This assignment is outdoors. You need to be prepared for the weather on race day.

You will work at the direction of the race director and timer, assist with timing (manual and/or digital), and set-up/break-down of finish line equipment. Some lifting will be required.

You also have a key role in cheering on our runners as they finish their race! You may get to "bestow" medals on finishers (younger children may help with this task).

Arrive by 6:45 AM to check in with the volunteer coordinator and receive your location assignment.

This assignment is outdoors. You need to be prepared for the weather on race day & bring your own hydration, snacks and sun screen.

Duties include: directing runners and keeping them safe along the route are the key responsibilities; a proper understanding of the course and being able to stop pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic while runners cross; being confident and loud (if necessary).

You are a key player in keeping the excitement and momentum going on the course. Feel free to act crazy, scream, cheer, laugh; anything to bring out a smile on our runners faces!

YOU MUST WEAR A SAFETY VEST (provided by RRRC at check-in)! Standing for long periods of time is required.

At the water stops, you are responsible for keeping the water coolers filled and assisting runners if necessary. RRRC is now cupless at all races but emergency cups will be provided in the bins.

Arrive by 5:45 AM to meet the RRRC truck driver, Glenn Melton.

You will assist the driver of the RRRC truck in setting up and taking down the event from the start/finish line to the cones and water stations along the course.

You must be able to lift 50 lbs (the weight of the wayer jugs). Walking is required. This assignment is outdoors. Please be prepared for the weather on race day.
