Canceled in Accordance With Department of Health Directives

Seattle Against Slavery/Federal Way Coalition Against Trafficking is canceling our
2020 Break the Chains of Human Trafficking 5K Run/Walk on May 16, 2020 in Federal
Way. Although this is a major decision, we are doing so in accordance with the directives of
our State health and government officials and to prioritize the health and safety of our
participants, volunteers, staff, and our broader community.
The event was canceled, but the need for anti-trafficking work does not stop. Our
annual Break the Chains 5K is a major fundraising event for Seattle Against Slavery/Federal
Way Coalition Against Trafficking. We appreciate and count on the robust support of our
community partners and stakeholders that participate in the event each year. The generosity
and support of all our community sponsors and donors makes a big difference in our work to
fight human trafficking! If you have already registered, we encourage you to count your
registration fee as support of FWCAT and our mission to end human trafficking in our
community.
If you had planned on donating or participating in the 2020 5K fundraiser, we ask you
to please maintain that commitment of fiscal support to us through direct donations

Early Bird Registration - $15.00 when you register by April 30 at 11:59pm. Plus receive an event T-Shirt! Also, all Early Bird registrants will be entered in a raffle prize drawing.

Standard Registration - $20.00 and available from May 1 until May 13 at 11:59pm. PLEASE NOTE, registrations received after April 30, 2019 cannot be guaranteed an event t-shirt. After May 13, all new registrants must register in-person on event day.

Event Day Registration - $25.00 - PLEASE NOTE, Event Day registrants cannot be guaranteed an event t-shirt.

Children Under the Age of 10 - FREE without a t-shirt or $5 with a t-shirt
Prizes will be awarded in five categories: biggest team, 2nd biggest team, highest fundraising team, highest fundraising individual, individual with the most donations.
