Additional race information can be found at https://bighurtpa.com/little-hurt/.
Little Hurt is a multi-sport event designed to expose youth in 4th-9th grades to competitions that include multiple sports, and to encourage participation in healthy activities that take advantage of the infrastructure and organizations available in the community. This event will take place on the Sunday after the Big Hurt, and we encourage participants to watch the fun on Saturday for inspiration!
The Little Hurt event is supported and organized via a partnership between Peninsula Adventure Sports (producers of the Big Hurt), Lincoln Park BMX, Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association and Port Angeles School District AmeriCorps team, and sponsored by Bike Garage and Pheonix Dragon in Port Angeles. All participants will receive a finisher medal and t-shirt.
Little Hurt includes 3 legs - biking on the Lincoln Park BMX track, rowing on rowing machines provided by the Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association, and trail running in Lincoln Park. Each participant does all of the legs - there is not a relay option for Little Hurt.
There will be opportunities leading up to the event for kids to practice and train - follow Big Hurt on social media and check back on the website (https://bighurtpa.com/little-hurt/) to learn about these pre-events sponsored by Lincoln Park BMX, Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association, and Port Angele School District Americorps team.
