Additional race information can be found at https://bighurtpa.com/little-hurt/.
Little Hurt is a multi-sport event designed to expose youth in 1st-8th grades to competitions that include multiple sports, and to encourage participation in healthy activities that take advantage of the infrastructure and organizations available in the community. This event will take place on the Sunday after the Big Hurt, and we encourage participants to watch the fun on Saturday for inspiration! This year the event will take place on the Peninsula College campus.
The Little Hurt event is supported and organized via a partnership between Peninsula Adventure Sports (producers of the Big Hurt), North Olympic Healthcare Network, Peninsula College, Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association, Sequim Cross Country team, and Port Angeles School District AmeriCorps team. It is a non-profit event and is sponsored by Bike Garage in Port Angeles. All participants will receive a finisher medal and t-shirt.
Little Hurt includes 3 legs - biking (can use any type of non-electric bike), rowing on rowing machines provided by the Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association, and trail running in the forest behind the campus. Each participant does all of the legs - there is not a relay option for Little Hurt.
