Meals on Wheels Oktoberfeast 2023 | Presented by HMIS

The cutoff date for shirt orders is September 7th at 3 PM, and we cannot guarantee shirt availability at the event after this date. However, you will still receive a shirt, though it may be delivered after the event.

Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels is proud to present Oktoberfeast 2023, a 5k fun run brought to you by HMIS! Join us on Saturday, October 7th at 10am for a fun-filled 5K run/walk along the beautiful Columbia River with snacks along the course! 

The 2023 Registration Bundle includes entry to the race, lunch, your first drink, a collectible beer mug, and a collectible t-shirt to memorialize the event. Bringing your pup? Be sure to add on the dog bandana option so you and your pooch can match on and off the course! 

After the run, we'll have more fun, with a Bavarian-style lunch prepared by our fantastic Meals on Wheels Kitchen Team, a Kid Zone, a dog corner with snacks for the pups, a beer garden featuring local craft beer (root beer also available!), tuba-tastic tunes by The Tubadors, and so much more.

All proceeds from this event will benefits Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels, an agency providing nutritious meals to older adults throughout Benton and Franklin Counties. 

Who should sign up? All are welcome! Runners, walkers, pups, kids, wheelchairs, and strollers! Participate on your own, or grab a team of friends or colleagues.

Want to help us fundraise? When you register (individually or as a team) you can indicate that you'd like to be a fundraising partner. You will have a landing page to send to your friends and family to help us fundraise before the event! The individual and team that raise the most funds will receive a gift at the race! 

The Oktoberfeast event will begin in the parking lot at 2600 North Columbia Center Blvd. This is where the 5k will begin and end.

The after-party (lunch, beer garden, dog corner, etc.) will take place on the Meals on Wheels campus, just a few steps from the finish line. All festivities wrap up at 2pm.

Deadlines:

Some walk-up registrations will be allowed on the day of the race. 

Note: Accessible parking is available. Please reach out at 509.735.1911 if you have any concerns or questions and someone from our team will be more than happy to ensure you have all the information you need. 

The 5k will not be timed and is considered a fun run. The course is laid out as a standard out-and-back 5K event, but participants are welcome to turn around at any point.
