Last Splash of Summer

Last Splash of Summer is a family event! We have events for adults and kids. 

HIGHLIGHTS:

• 500-yard races for adults and kids, registration fee $35.00
• Lake temperatures are expected to be in the mid 60's
• T-Shirts will be sold until September 7th. Register early if you would like a T-Shirt.
• This year's giveaway is a swim buoy (please note the 500-yard race swimmers will not receive the giveaway with the reduced registration fee)

Early Bird Registration Saturday, April 11th - Saturday, April 26th $65.00
Regular Registration Sunday, April 27th - Thursday, September 17th $75.00
Day of Race Registration, Saturday, September 19th $85.00
500 Yard Swim Saturday, April 11th - September 17th $35.00

• 500 Yards Wetsuit / No-Wetsuit
• 500 Yards Wetsuit FIN / No-Wetsuit FIN
• 1 Mile Wetsuit / No-Wetsuit
• 1 Mile Wetsuit FIN / No-Wetsuit FIN
• 2 Mile Wetsuit / No-Wetsuit

PARENTAL GUARDIAN: Those 18 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian and approval of parent or guardian supplied with entry. 

RULES: Last Splash of Summer is not a USMS sanctioned event. We will follow the open water rules of USMS. The use of neoprene wetsuits and other nonporous attire is allowed in the wetsuit events. Fins are allowed in the 500 yard FIN and 1 mile FIN events. Fins must be no longer than 12" and no mono fins allowed. Pull buoys, snorkels, mp3 players are examples of items that are not allowed. 

10 and unders MUST swim the 500 yards

10 - 12 year olds that want to swim the mile need to submit the name of their coach and swim club as well as submit records (proof) they have swum a 500 in a USA swim meet in a time of 7:30 or faster including the name of the meet and date. AGE GROUPS:  12 & under, 13-14, 15 & Over, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, etc.)

Ages determined by date of birth as of December 31st.

TIMELINE:

• 7:30 AM     Registration Check-In 
  

• 8:30 AM     Mandatory Safety Meeting

• 9:00 AM     Event Start: 2 Mile

• 9:10 AM     Event Start: 1 Mile

• 9:20 AM     Event Start: 1 Mile FIN

• Event Start: 500 Yards - usually when the course is cleared

MERCHANDISE:

Long sleeved hoodies are for sale this year! Hoodies will be sold during registration for a limited time period. We will not have hoodies available for purchase at the event. Hoodies are 50% cotton, 48% poly fleece, super soft premium materials.

REFUNDS: Open water registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
