Join us on July 26th for the return of the Kaiser Permanente Seafair Torchlight Run - On Seattle's NEW Waterfront!
The Torchlight Run is returning as part of Seafair's Torchlight Night Festivities in 2025! The Run will once again kick off Torchlight Night, running along the Seafair Torchlight Parade Route.
NEW IN 2025! The Torchlight Run will take place along Seattle's NEW Waterfront. Join us as we celebrate Torchlight Night and the new, inviting and family friendly waterfront.
Participants of all ages will don their most creative costumes (we're always partial to pirates and clowns!) as they take on the 5K routing along the Seattle Waterfront. With the parade and run returning, we'll once again be following the parade route, meaning you can expect lots of cheering, lots of high fives and plenty of energy as you cruise through this flat, scenic 5K run/walk.

THE COURSE
The Kaiser Permanente Seafair Torchlight Run will start and finish at Seattle's New Waterfront in 2025!
Torchlight Night is back! This year, once again, the Torchlight Run will kick off the night's festivities at 6:00pm and run along Seattle's NEW Waterfront! Following the parade route, run participants can expect a flat, scenic, high energy run as you pass by parade goers cheering you on, passing out high fives and keeping the energy high!

PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP & RACE DAY REGISTRATION
FRIDAY PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP
Friday, July 25 from 2:00pm - 7:00pm
Location: TBD
Join us Friday, July 25 at (Location TBD) where participants can collect all their race materials including their bib/timing chip, participant shirt and medal.
DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP & REGISTRATION
Race day packet pickup will begin at 4:00pm at the event start line and continue until the start of the race at 6:00pm. Avoid long lines, collect packets on Friday.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are needed to support the Seafair Torchlight Run and race participants. Areas volunteers will support the race are:

Day-Of Packet Pickup
Gear Check
Post Run Swag Distribution
Volunteers will work together to manage all the different participant areas.
Timeframes vary
Friday - 2:00pm - 7:00pm (will provide a free entry in exchange for volunteers)
Saturday - 4:00pm - 7:30pm (for all areas including pre-race packet pickup, gear check, post run swag distribution)

WHERE IS THE EVENT LOCATED? Seattle Waterfront
WHEN IS THE LIVE EVENT? Saturday, July 26, 2025
WHAT TIME IS THE EVENT? 6:00pm race start
WHEN IS PACKET PICKUP? Pre-Race packet pickup will be Friday, July 26 from 2:00pm - 7:00pm at Location TBD and on race day starting at 4:00pm at the event start line
DO YOU HAVE GEAR CHECK? Yes, we will provide gear check near the start line
WHERE IS PARKING? Parking for the event will be located throughout Downtown Seattle streets. We suggest the lower Queen Anne neighborhood (use the Thomas Street Pedestrian overpass) or throughout the waterfront neighborhood. Please be sure to read street signs and follow all parking guidance. There are also plenty of parking garages to utilize
WHAT'S THE COURSE? The 5K Course will be a loop course along the Seattle Waterfront
WILL WATER STATIONS BE AVAILABLE? Yes, there will be 1 on course water station
ARE STROLLERS OR PUPS ALLOWED? Sure, all we ask is that you stay to the edge of the course and running paths to allow others to pass. If with a pup, please make sure they are to the outside of the course at all times.
ONCE REGISTERED, CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND? No refunds will be given. We will allow any participant unable to attend to defer their entry to 2026. Email us if this is needed.

Before the Seahawks and Mariners called Seattle home, before the 1962 World’s Fair that gave us the iconic Space Needle, Seattle celebrated Seafair.
