Support families in Spokane.
The Challenge
Run or walk 31 miles, one a day, for the month of July at your own pace. Set personal goals and invite friends and family to support your efforts through donations.
- Fundraise Your Way: Set a personal fundraising goal and ask your friends, family, and community to support your efforts with a flat donation.
- Join a Team: Sign up as an individual or gather your crew (church group, office department, family) to complete the challenge together.
The Race
Join us on August 2nd at 9:30 AM for a sunny 5K celebration run through beautiful Riverfront Park.
Arrive in your race shirt, favorite gear, or costume and enjoy food trucks and activities for the whole family before and after the race.
The Impact
Every step you take and every mile you complete supports Family Promise of Spokane’s mission. Your participation helps raise awareness of the hidden homeless here in Spokane and provides support to ending the cycle of family homelessness. Support families on the verge of, or experiencing, homelessness in Spokane County. Together we will show Spokane that we are ending the cycle of Family Homelessness!
Why We Exist
Contrary to common knowledge, family homelessness is the fastest growing segment of the homeless population in the United States today. Spokane County is no exception. That's why Family Promise specializes in connecting homeless families with those in their own neighborhood, increasing support networks and re-enforcing the skills needed to maintain housing.

About Family Promise
In Memoriam
This run is in honor of beloved late coworker Craig Howard, who would often give out shoes to those who had none.
This run is a perfect blend of his passions and we will honor him with every mile completed!
