Event Description
Family Promise of Spokane is hosting a Fun Run Challenge! What's the challenge? Run 31 miles, one a day, for the month of July at your own pace. Then come together to finish strong for a 5k!
Support families on the verge of, or experiencing, homelessness in Spokane County. Together we will show Spokane that we are ending the cycle of Family Homelessness! Join us the month of July by running, raising awareness, and gathering sponsors to support Family Promise of Spokane. Wear purple and yellow (or your race day shirt) while you run to show support of our organization! Post your progress on this website or join our Family Promise of Spokane Fun Run Facebook group to share photos, progress, and highlights of the race.
There will even be shout outs for:
- The individual or team who can raise the most money!
- The individual or team who can get the most peer support!
- The individual or team who has the most creative run (costumes, style, etc!)
- The biggest team!
- The furthest run away from Spokane!
We will end the month long challenge on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 with a 5K in Riverfront Park.

This run is in honor of beloved late coworker Craig Howard, who would often give out shoes to those who had none. This run is a perfect blend of his passions and we will honor him with ever mile completed!
