The 5K course heads west from the Sports Center on the same bike trail, staying on the trail to the turnaround and retracing the route. The 5K course is mostly flat with a little rolling topography before the turnaround.
The 10K run heads east out of town along the main street, goes up a nice rise up to a bridge to cross over the railroad tracks, then turns west, running through wooded neighborhoods to join a bike trail that winds by homes on the south shore of Lake Altoona. The course loops north and climbs slightly into a wooded neighborhood before rejoining the bike trail and turning south, taking you back to the Sports Center.
Aid Stations. A water station and port-o-potty are located on the Spring Fever 10K course at approximately mile 3. Bathroom facilities and water are available at the arena.
Packet pickup will be at the Blue Ox Running store from 4 PM to 6 PM on Friday 4/6/18.
Day of packet pickup will be at the Hobbs Ice Arena starting at 7:00 AM.
