No Rush November
A Month to Slow Down, Bond, and Enjoy Each Moment with Your Horse
WHAT IS IT?
An event by Warhorse Challenges, created to help you and your horse connect, learn, and grow together in small, meaningful increments.
WHO?
Open to all USA participants of Warhorse Challenges.
WHEN?
The entire month of November 2024.
WHERE?
In the Warhorse Challenges Facebook Group.
WHY?
To slow down, bond with your horse, and focus on connection over perfection. Work along with other group members as each week has a new theme to help guide you in this journey. Post in the facebook group to inspire and be inspired by what others are doing on their own journey.
HOW IT WORKS
Limited Bridle Charm Entry
Participants who sign up through the runsign up are eligible for a bridle charm as a completion award, provided they follow along with the weekly themes. Spaces are limited, so sign up soon! Facebook group members are welcome to download the weekly guides that are part of No Rush November, though not required to.
Weekly Themes
Each week, spend at least 15 minutes, (it can be more) 4 times a week, on the theme’s activity. Feel free to do more if you like! The goal is simply to enjoy this time with your horse. Something old, something new, something basic something to review! Those are the 4 weekly themes for skill refinement and bonding with our horses this No Rush November.
Week 1: Renew with Something Old
Work on a cue or skill that your horse already knows. Use this time to just be present with your horse.
Week 2: Discover Something New
Introduce a new skill or cue to your horse. It can be as small or big as you choose—just explore something fresh together.
Week 3: Refine the Something Basic
Work on a basic skill that could use a little fine-tuning. This week is about improving something simple and building confidence.
Week 4: Reflect & Something Review
Choose something that stood out to you this month and spend time reviewing it with your horse.
GIVEAWAY
For those who sign up, a limited edition bridle charm will be awarded to celebrate the journey completed with your horse. An additional giveaway drawing from those signed up for the bridle charm will be given via a drawing randomly from the assigned bib numbers. Shipping is included.
