The Mixed Relay was an event in the 2024 World Cross Country Championships last March in Serbia. Based on meet managements’ research, this is the first such event being conducted in the USA utilizing the World Athletics format. Be a part of making USA XC history!

The Ranger Mixed XC Relays is a mixed relay event (male, female, male, female) with each team member running a 3000 meter leg. Teams do not have to be an “official” club team to participate. Just get three running friends! Meet management reserves the right to deny the use of submitted team names.
DATE/SITE: Sunday, November 10th at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside Cross Country Course   10:30am
DIVISIONS: Youth, High School, Open (any age), Masters (40+).

RACE FORMAT: The order of the relay is male - female- male -female. Runners will carry a baton that has timing chips attached. Splits will be recorded and posted  for each 3000 meter relay leg.

AWARDS: All members of the winning teams in each division will receive custom walnut plaques made from a tree from the UWPXC course. All members of the top three teams in each division will receive unique USATF event medals. The members of the top three teams overall will receive $100 Performance Running Outfitters gift cards.USATF CHAMPIONSHIPS: The Ranger XC Relays will be the Wisconsin USATF Association Mixed Relay Championships. The top USATF affiliated team in each division will receive USATF Championship medals.

PARTICIPANT CAPS: The members of the first 50 registered teams will receive a safety yellow knit cap (Great for winter running visibility.) T-shirts will be given to entrants registered if the hats run out.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $25.00 per entrant. There is a reduced entry fee of $20.00 for USATF members. Entries close on November 4th at 10:00pm CST. Late entries are excepted for a $30.00 fee through November 8th.

EVENT BENEFICIARY:  All profits from the event will go directly into the UW-Parkside fund that is dedicated to the maintenance, restoration and development of the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.

LOOKING FOR A TEAM? - If you don't have enough people to enter a team, enter as an individual and race management will randomly assign you to a team.

SITE ADMISSION FEE: There is no spectator admission fee for this event. A $5.00 - $10.00 donation upon entering the site to the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course fund that maintains and enhances the course is suggested.  IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND A DONATION OF ANY SIZE TO BENEFIT THE XC COURSE WILL BE APPRECIATED.
