Description
Welcome to the First Annual Sconnie Sprint!
We provide MWCTC athletes one last chance to race outdoors before the winter season! The course will consist of a indoor pool swim at the Bakke Recreation Center, followed by an outdoor bike near the UW-Madison campus and run along the Lakeshore Path of Lake Mendota.
Race Distances:
- 750m swim
- 11.8 mile bike
- 3.1 mile run.
The Bakke will serve as a home base for the race, offering lockers to store equipment, snacks after the race, and parking in nearby lots located here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/sEQahefSsXys9w5y5
All athletes that sign up before Saturday, 9/27 will receive a sweat towel with the race logo!

Bike Course Map
The 11.8 mile bike course will follow 2 laps of the hilly UW-Madison campus overlooking Lake Mendota with an additional loop to Eagle Heights.
Run Course Map
The 3.1 mile run course follows the Lakeshore Path along the shore of Lake Mendota on a double out-and-back.
