Celebrate Sweet Home Milwaukee at the Lakefront!
Please join us at Veterans Park on Sunday, April 6th for an inclusive 5k race designed for all ages and abilities. Whether you're a local, a transplant, or a Brew City enthusiast, you're warmly welcomed. Let's celebrate the hometown + breathtaking Lakefront views.
Cheering on all things Milwaukee- this event is produced and sponsored by many MKE businesses. In a world full of options, we thank you for choosing local.
Registration Options
General 5k Registration | All general 5k options are open to all ages and abilities! Registration includes a long-sleeved shirt, finisher's medal, race bib, chip-timed race, Bloody Mary at Brunch, a dish of Fred's Frozen Custard on race day, and a donation to Hunger Task Force.
Kid's 5k Registration | This option is for kids under 10 years old in the 5k. All registered kid entries include a finisher's medal, race bib, and a dish of Fred's frozen custard. NOTE: Kid entries are untimed and do not include a shirt. Shirts are available as an additional add-on. There is only 1 (one) 5k race. There is not a separate kid's race.
Age 5 and under: Registration is not required. If you would like to receive the medal, bib, and frozen custard - please register the kiddos :-)
Virtual Registration | All virtual 5k options are open to all ages and abilities! Registration includes a long-sleeved shirt, finisher's medal, race bib, dish of Frozen Custard at Fred's, and a donation to Hunger Task Force.
All virtual registrations will be mailed beginning April 7. You do not need to wait for your packet to arrive to complete your race. If you would like your packet earlier, you may pick-up at Packet Pick-Up on April 5.
Race Start: 9am
Can't make it? You may switch to the virtual race for whatever reason and we'll mail your packet. Simply make the change to your registration on runsignup.com no later than race day.

Packet Pick-Up
ENCOURAGE METHOD | Early Packet Pick-Up:

*Prepare for longer wait on race morning. Early pick-up is strongly encouraged. You MAY pick up someone else's packet.
If you are picking up for 3 or more people, please email cheers@414events.com with the names of all racers and we will group your packets.
Virtual Packet Mailing:
Packets will be mailed to the address on your account beginning April 7. Please allow 5-7 days for USPS delivery.
*You do not need to wait until your packet arrives to enter your results.*
If you would like, you may pick up your packet in-person during the scheduled hours on April 5

Online Registration will close at 9am on Sunday, April 6 (event day). We will update our registration page when we are sold-out!

Transfers
Can't make the event or want to switch distances? You may transfer your registration to another participant, to another distance, or to the virtual race from your account on Run Sign Up, up until the day of the event.
1) Log in on Runsignup.com
2) Click "Profile" on the top right-hand side of the page
3) Click "Manage Registration"
4) Transfer Event [distance] or Transfer to Another Runner (Depending on your chosen option- listed at the top of the page on the top right)
Pups + Strollers
Strollers are allowed on the course. Please be aware of your fellow racers and allow for those to pass to keep their desired times. This race does take place on public streets, so please exercise caution!
Age 12 and under: Registration is not required. If you would like to receive the sweatshirt, cup, root beer, and chip-timed race bib - please register the kiddos :-)
Pups are not allowed on this course- but are welcome to cheer you on at the finish line!
Parking
Free parking is available on the open parking lots within Veterans Park, and along Lagoon Drive and Lincoln Memorial Drive.
