Description
Jump Start Your Health: Make it a Mile is a four-week program designed to help beginning runners and walkers take the first steps toward getting healthy. This program includes a safe, guided training plan designed to allow you to work at your own pace in a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. This is a beginner walking or walk/run program but can also be used as a jump-start for other fitness goals you may have.

Two group runs per week from the Ogden YMCA in Neenah

Consistent training format, making time for a warm-up and cool-down each time

Monday evening workouts also begin with a 5 – 10-minute educational session followed by our prescribed workout

Thursday evening sessions begin with a 10–15-minute strength training session to support joint health and injury-free movement

$25 credit if you decide to continue on in the 9-week No Boundaries program that starts at the same time
