Join us for the Sturgeon Shuffle 2023! Presented by First State Bank, the Sturgeon Shuffle is a family-friendly 5K walk/run and a 10K competitive road run open to all levels of athletes. Named after the spring “sturgeon run”(spawning season), both events kick off from New London Middle School and are fully chip-timed (start and finish), taking participants on an out-and-back course on County Highway X along New London’s beautiful Wolf River.
Proceeds raised from the Shuffle will benefit backpack programs in our community and region including: Project Backpack New London, Project Backpack Waupaca (serving Waupaca, Manawa, Weyauwega-Fremont, Iola-Scandinavia, and Amherst school districts), and the Compassionate Connections Center Nutrition Mission in Clintonville. These organizations are working hard to stamp out hunger in our schools.

We kindly remind you, in keeping with the city’s ordinances, that pets are not permitted in the Race day event. We love our furry friends, but thank you ahead of time for making note of this and making it a fun and safe event for all!

Discount for youth age 14 & under will be applied at checkout based upon age of child on the event date.
*A small fee will be added for credit card processing at time of registration.

Awards & Divisions
The Top 3 overall finishers, will win a Sturgeon Shuffle Bonus Prize as well as a custom medal.
*New this year, custom Sturgeon Finisher Medals will also be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place participants Male & Female, in each Age Group for both races (5K & 10K).
