Spectators
The Non-Cancelled Marathon is the perfect event for spectators! 🎉 You’ll have plenty of opportunities to cheer on runners, from the start line, at eight points along the course, and at the finish!
We’ve designated a spectator zone along the trail where it runs parallel to Oconomowoc Parkway (see Course Map for details). This area provides ample space to set up support stations and cheer on your favorite runners! 👏🏃♂️
🚀 RaceJoy Tracking – This is a RaceJoy-enabled event, meaning you’ll know exactly where your runner is on the course. No more guessing or hoping to spot them—you’ll be at the right place, at the right time, every time!

- Marathon - 4 out and backs between Roosevelt Park & Valley Road
- Half Marathon - 2 out and backs between Roosevelt Park & Valley Road
- 10K - 1 out and back between Roosevelt Park & Hwy 67
- 5K - 1 out and back between Roosevelt Park & Silver Lake St
Spectator-Friendly & Split Tracking
We know an out-and-back marathon may not be the most scenic course, but it’s perfect for spectators! 🎉 With two dedicated spectator sections, your supporters will be able to see you 8 times throughout the race! 👏🏃♂️
📍 Live Split Tracking – We’ll have timing points at each turn and at the halfway point on each lap, so you’ll know your split time every 1.6375 miles!
🎤 Race Announcer – As you pass near the bag drop area, our announcer will be calling out runners' names, giving you an extra boost of energy as you enter the zone!
📲 RaceJoy Enabled – To make things even more exciting, RaceJoy tracking will be available, so your friends and family will know exactly where you are—every second of your run! No more missed cheering moments! 🎊🏅

Course Timing and Early Start Policy
As much as we’d love to spend endless time at our favorite race sites, our permits limit the time we can occupy the course. To comply with these restrictions, the course will close for the final lap at 12:00 PM, and participants will not be permitted to continue once the course is officially closed.
Early Start Option for Marathoners
If you're concerned about finishing the marathon within the allotted time, we're here to help you achieve your running goals! We offer an early start option for marathoners who need extra time.
- Important Details:
- Early starters will receive a chip time.
- Early starters are not eligible for age group or series awards.
- The course may not yet be fully set up:
- Markings, marshals, police, and aid stations may not be in place.
- The course will remain open to the public.
- Early starts are available only for marathon participants.
Important Rules:
🚫 Non Marathon Participants: Those starting early in other races will not receive an official time and will be disqualified.
🚫 Continuing After Closure: Participants who continue after being asked to stop will also be disqualified.

Relay & Teams
Looking for a team challenge? Grab some friends and run the Non-Cancelled Marathon as a four-person relay or as a team! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
This race is perfect for relays because you'll have multiple opportunities to see and support your teammates throughout the course! With dedicated spectator zones and live tracking, you’ll never miss a handoff or a chance to cheer them on! 🎉👏

Aid Stations
There will be three aid stations on course (see Course Map for Details):
- Lake Country Trail & Oconomowoc Parkway
- Lake Country Trail & Silver Cedar
- Turn at the start/finish line
Aid Stations & Bag Drop
🏃♂️ Stay Fueled & Hydrated! 🏃♀️
Our aid stations will be stocked with water, sports drink, and energy gels to keep you going. While we do our best to recruit volunteers, runners should be prepared to use self-serve aid stations throughout the course.
📍 On-Course Bag Drop – We’ve set up two bag drop areas where you can leave your nutrition and hydration items:
1️⃣ Roosevelt Park along the Lake Country Trail
2️⃣ Intersection of The Lake Country Trail & Silver Cedar Rd
Both sides of the path may be used for bag placement, but please place bags on the grass—not the path to keep the course clear. These are self-placement and self-serve bag drops. Bags will not be transported on course, but don't worry—there’s plenty of time and space to place your items before you start running.
🚗 Bag Drop Access – To drop a bag at the Silver Cedar Rd location, we recommend driving there before checking in at packet pickup. Park on Oconomowoc Parkway, walk across the grass, and place your bag. Please do not drive or park on Silver Cedar Rd.

Restrooms 🚻
We’ve got you covered when nature calls!
✅ Pre-Race Restrooms – Permanent restrooms are available before the race at the south end of Roosevelt Park, near the playground and adjacent to the parking lot. They’re clean and new! 🚽✨
✅ On-Course Porta-Potties – There will be two porta-potties available during the race for runners:
1️⃣ Start/Finish turnaround point
2️⃣ Near the bag drop area
These on-course porta-potties are only for use during the run, so be sure to plan accordingly before the race starts.

You do not need to print your receipt, but we must scan the QR code on it for check-in. Please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code in your image library for quick access.

Volunteer
We need volunteers for everything from aid station support to course marshals. If you or your group have an interest in volunteering, we would greatly appreciate the assistance. Timing
The race is chip timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC with a chip start. Your time will start when you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line.
Walkers Welcome!
Walkers are welcome to join any distance. Just select your desired distance when registering and check the course closure time to ensure you can finish before the course closes.
Although the Walk Division is timed, it’s not competitive, and there are no age group awards. However, walkers will still receive a finisher woodle! 🎉

- Select your Profile.
- Scroll down to the race you wish to modify.
- Click on "Manage Registration".
