Finisher Woodles & Awards at the Chili Run

Celebrate your Chili Run achievement with unique, handcrafted Woodles from our partner Ridgeway Woodworks! Here’s a breakdown of the awards:

🌶️ Finisher Woodles
All Finishers: Cross the finish line, and you’ll earn a custom finisher woodle to commemorate your run or walk.

🌶️ Overall Awards
Overall Male & Female Winners: The top male and female runners in each distance will receive a custom award created by Ridgeway Woodworks.

🌶️ Age Group Awards
Top 3 Male & Female Finishers: In 5-year age groups (starting from 0–14), the top 3 finishers will receive a custom woodle. These awards recognize your hard work and dedication.

Walkers Welcome!

Walkers are welcome to join any distance. Just select your desired distance when registering and check the course closure time to ensure you can finish before the course closes.

Although the Walk Division is timed, it’s not competitive, and there are no age group awards. However, walkers will still receive a finisher woodle! 🎉

As a fun and delicious reward for completing the race, all finishers will receive abowl of chili at the end of the course! It’s the perfect way to celebrate crossing the finish line.

Please note, kids participating in the free kiddos 1K will receive a finisher woodle, but it will have an alternative lanyard.

Course

Located in the Village of Waukesha on the river which shares its name, Fox River Park is full of mature woodlands, wetlands, and many species of wildflowers 🏞️. You’ll feel like you’re in the northern woods of Wisconsin without leaving Waukesha County 🌲. The run/walk takes place on the paved paths within Fox River Park.

The 257-acre park represents an outstanding area for providing a feeling of wilderness and solitude. No matter what time of the year, the view and activity is ever-changing: spring brings delicate wildflowers; summer produces a wooded canopy for a hike through the forest; fall offers a breathtaking display of color, and winter donates snow that glistens in the sun.

The abundance of wildlife provides great opportunities for nature study and the exploration of the natural world. Many wildflowers and bird species can be viewed along the trails that wind through the park.

Ruckers Welcomed!

Rucking is a physical activity that involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack (called a rucksack). The term comes from the military, where soldiers train and operate carrying heavy loads over long distances. In civilian fitness and recreation, rucking is gaining popularity as a versatile and low-impact workout.

• A park pass is required and can be purchased online. There are no in-person park passes available at Fox River Park.
• No parking along the road.

Chip Timing and Bib Instructions for the Chili Run

Your race will be chip timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, and the timing chip is conveniently located on your bib. To ensure accurate timing, follow these simple steps on how to wear your bib:

Bib-Wearing Guidelines:

🌶️ Attach your bib to the front of your shirt: Use safety pins to secure the bib in all four corners for stability.
🌶️ Ensure the bib is visible at all times: Don’t cover it with jackets, gear, or other items. The timing chip needs clear access to record your time.
🌶️ Do not fold or crumple the bib: Keep it flat so the chip can work properly.
🌶️ Wear your bib on the outermost layer of clothing: If it’s cold and you’re layering, make sure it’s pinned on top of everything.

How to Modify Your Registration:

3. Scroll down to the race you want to modify.
4. Click on "Manage Registration".

Available Modifications:
