Twilight Tuesday Run/Walk for WV Children

This is a family-friendly event to celebrate Malden Elementary's completion of a Girls on the Run program.  The program emphasizes healthy decisions and physical activity.  The run/walk is sponsored by ChildLaw Services of Princeton, WV.  All runners and walkers are invited to come out and enjoy a lovely evening on a flat 3.1 mile course with a beautiful view of the capitol.  The 5K starts and ends behind the University of Charleston in Kanawha City.  There will be a water station at the 1 and 2 mile points.  Refreshments will be provided afterwards.  Timing will be handled by Appalachian Timing - aptiming.com.  This event is santioned by USA Track and Field.
