The Clarksburg Pepperoni Roll 5K

Welcome to the 5th Annual Clarksburg Pepperoni Roll 5K Race, benefitting The Clarksburg Children's House Montessori School!  Did you know that Clarksburg, WV has the most pepperoni roll bakeries in the entire state? The Clarksburg Children's House (TCCH) wanted to showcase this unique feature of our city and support our local bakeries, while raising money for our beautiful school located in the historic Glen Elk neighborhood of Clarksburg.  All the proceeds from this event will support our fundraising efforts at The Clarksburg Children’s House. RACE DETAILS: 

We are happy to announce we are working with AP Timing company again this year!

Runners that register before September 5th will receive a free race T-shirt with the famous running pepperoni rolls, designed by WV artist Liz Pavlovic. *Extra shirts will be available while supplies last for those registered after 9/5, but NOT guaranteed. 

We're excited to say all registered runners before September 5th will also receive a FREE commemorative race medal! New this year, they will be handmade by Florence Fired Pottery, made right here in Harrison County, WV! *Extra medals will be available while supplies last for those registered after 9/5, but NOT guaranteed.  

We will have vendors and food trucks available before, during, and after the race. We encourage you, your friends, and family to spend your morning with us! Please note, our race starts at 9AM this year.

This is a family-friendly race and kids 12 & under are welcome to run or walk with parents or guardians for FREE. But please note, only children REGISTERED for the 5K will receive a t-shirt, medal, and chip timing.

**NEW - BIG ANNOUNCEMENT** 

We are THRILLED to announce our inaugural Kid's Mini Pepperoni Roll Fun Run! We started this run in honor of Ms. Jennifer Brazier, one of the Founding Directors of The Clarksburg Children's House. This run will be open to kids ages 12 and under and will be a modified shorter course (approximately .6 of a mile) immediately following the 5K (approximately 10:15AM). Registration IS required, but there will be no chip timing. This is purely for fun and all registered kids by Sept. 5 will receive an eexclusive Fun Run t-shirt and prize for participating.

RACE ROUTE:

This 5K race will take you through historic downtown Clarksburg. The starting line will be outside the newly restored Robinson Grand Theater near 444 W. Pike Street. Runners will go down 6th Street to turn left onto Main Street, turning left onto 3rd Street, and another left onto W. Pike Street. Racers will then take a right onto 4th Street, continuing straight into Glen Elk, and taking a left onto Baltimore Ave. After two blocks, make a left onto N. 6th Street, running across the bridge. Runners will repeat the same route for a 2nd loop.The 3rd loop begins the same, but runners will go past 4th Street this time to advance straight to the finish line back near The Robinson Grand Theater. 

FUN RUN RACE ROUTE:

The Kid's Mini Pepperoni Roll Fun Run will follow the same route as the last lap of the 5K. The starting line will be on 6th Street, near the newly restored Robinson Grand Theater at 444 W. Pike St. Runners will run down 6th Street to turn left onto Main Street, turning left again onto 3rd Street, and another left back onto W. Pike and advance straight to the finish line back near The Robinson Grand Theater.

If you are coming from out of town The Hilton Garden Inn and Days Inn are the closest hotels to the 5k race.
