Capes & Tiaras Fun Run & 5K/Relay (Draft)

Don your capes and tiaras and run like you mean business! The Little Capes & Tiaras Fun Run is open to children ages 2-9, and the Big Capes & Tiaras 5K/Relay is open to youth and adults ages 10+. This event was designed with families in mind and is an unofficially timed event.

The Fun Run will be divided by age group, and appropriate running distances as follows:

• Children ages 2-3 will run one 50m stretch on grass.
• Children ages 4-5 will run one 100m stretch on grass.
• Children ages 6-7 will run one 200m stretch on a paved path.
• Children ages 8-9 will run one 400m stretch on a paved path.
• The fun run fee is just $15 per child and includes a cape or tiara and a healthy snack.

The Big Capes & Tiaras 5K/Relay will run immediately following the Fun Run. Running divisions will include individual runners and team runners (2 people per team). Awards will be given among the top placing all-male team, all-female team, and co-ed teams and top placing male and female individual runners. Healthy snacks and bottles of water will be available to all participants during the Fun Run and 5K/Relay.

Little runners (ages 2-9) will have the option of a cape or tiara as their race day freebie, and big runners (ages 10+) will receive their size choice of a Capes & Tiaras t-shirt! Race freebies are only guaranteed to participants registered before Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Any registrations received after April 25 will be offered a race t-shirt based on first registered, first served and shirt availability.
