Join me in a *virtual* 5k run/walk on Sunday, Feb 27th to celebrate 2 years of life and fitness since the eventful race in Texas. I am thankful for the many family, friends, and health care professionals that have made my recovery possible and hope you can run with me.
**Update: with the cold weather this weekend, I’m planning to run my 5k at the gym on Friday!**
While cardiac arrests are not rare, surviving one is extraordinary. According to the AHA, "There are more than 356,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA) annually in the U.S., nearly 90% of them are fatal. Survival with good functional status is 8.2%." Consider getting virtually CPR/AED certified and help me pay it forward:
