Description
Join us for a West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners members and friends event on Friday, August 7th at 8:30 pm for a night time run of the new Meeks Mountain Trails in Hurricane. Starting at sunset from Hurricane City Park you'll need a headlamp to finish the 5ish mile single tract loop. Bring your own food and drink for afterwards. This is a free event for all WVMTR members, families, and any trail running enthusiasts. All are welcome. There's no alcohol allowed at the park, sorry.
The original plan was for WVMTR to provide pizza and drinks for afterwards but have decided against that at this point. We'll maintain safe distances and adhere to recommended guidelines by our state and local officials. These guidelines remain fluid so adjustments may be made up until the start of the run.
