🌲 The Wolfman Triathlon
One of Wisconsin’s original off-road triathlons, held in the rugged Northwoods. Multi-discipline race includes:
-
🚣 3-mile Class II whitewater paddle
-
🚵 13-mile technical mountain bike ride
-
🏃 3.75-mile rugged trail run
Triathlon Course Overview
🚣 Paddle (3 miles)
Launch kayaks or canoes on a rocky, scenic Class II section of the Wolf River just north of Langlade, WI. Finish at the DNR landing in Langlade.
🚵 Bike (13 miles)
Sprint to your bike, head east on Highway 64, and enter the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Navigate the Nicolet Roche trail system—technical singletrack with climbs, descents, and challenges—finishing near the Gardner Dam Adventure Base.
🏃 Run (3.75 miles)
Begin with a bridge crossing over the Wolf River, then wind along the riverbank and forest trails. Expect steep climbs, dense ferns, and a final river crossing (yes, you’ll get wet!) before reaching the finish line and the legendary Wolfman After Party.
