Go-OkieDokie! (Draft)

This 5k walk/run event is scheduled to occur on Saturday, 9/9/23, starting at 8 am.  It is being conducted downtown, Blue Springs, MO.  The starting line will be at 14th and Main.  Parking and check-in will be at the Church parking lot located at 15th & Main.  Check-in will begin at 7:00 am.  Race pre-check in will also be available from 5:30 - 7:00 pm on the Friday evening before the event at Brewer's Sports Bar and Grill located at 14th & Main downtown Blue Springs.

Children's sized T-shirts with event themed cartoon characters will be provided to first 100 registrants (limited to sizes still available at pickup).  There will be event themed participation medals available for first 150 finishers, as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals awarded to overall top three race finishers.     

The race is being conducted by theBMSproject.org a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ("BMS" stands for Body, Mind & Spirit).  Go-OKieDokie! is 5k Walk/Run Fundraising event to support & assist youth sports advocates (parents, coaches, mentors, officials & school counselors) to create safe, positive competitive environments and experience for young athletes and their families; as well as to promote mental health awareness and contribute to suicide prevention.  Net proceed to go to support youth athletic mental health & suicide prevention.
