Come & Join Us For The Sheriff’s Shuffle 5k Run/Walk !!!
The Sheriff’s Shuffle has a history of bringing together the community in support of local agencies whose mission is to provide services to those in need. The monies collected have been donated to a variety of agencies in our community such as The Shriners Hospital for Children, Griffin’s Friends, The South End Community Center and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Springfield and Holyoke.
This year, the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department continues to partner with The YWCA of Western Massachusetts!
Throughout the pandemic, violence against women and children dramatically escalated. Sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking became everyday occurrences in communities throughout Western Massachusetts.
For 154 years, the YWCA has provided excellent services to survivors of violence. Proceeds from this event will enable the YWCA to continue this much-needed support.
