Bayou City Road Runner's Year End Celebration

While we enjoy our awesome meal and bask in the fellowship of runners, we invite you to support those who may face challenges putting food on their table by giving to the Houston Food Bank.

Through your generosity, we were able to give $500 to the Food Bank from this event last year, and we would like to continue to give this year.

In addition, BCRR has supported the Houston Food Bank for the last few years by sponsoring teams for the Harvest Marathon Relay that is held in October - an effort spearheaded by BCRR VP Steve Hasson.

The Houston Food Bank is America’s largest food bank in distribution leading hunger relief in 18 southeast Texas counties.

Founded in 1982, the Houston Food Bank is a certified member of Feeding America, the nation’s food bank network, with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. The Food Bank distributes fresh produce, meat and non-perishables and prepares nutritious hot meals for kids in their state-of-the-art Keegan Kitchen.
