I have always struggled with my mental health. I fully believe I am where I am today because I had people in my life on which I could count. Their support sustained me, leading me to want to pay it forward to so many people out there who aren't as lucky as I am. I have served on the board of EveryMind for 8 years, and in that time I have witnessed first hand the impact they have on my community.
EveryMind administers the 988 talk/text help line, provides student mental health services in dozens of schools, connects local veterans with vital community services, and so much more. Perhaps the work of which I'm the most proud, EveryMind works to end the stigma of mental health. We are committed to helping everyone recognize that taking care of one’s mental wellness is as necessary as taking care of one’s physical wellness.
