I am running in remembrance of many people we lost too soon, but specifically my cousin Anthony Grosso. Anthony is deeply missed by his family and I will always honor his existence on this earth for as long as I am here. The services that Hope for the Bereaved provide at no cost are so valuable to one going through any stage of grief. Please consider donating any amount you can afford.
Founded in 1978, HOPE For Bereaved is an independent nonprofit community organization. HOPE is dedicated to helping grieving children, teens and adults by providing core services such as support groups, monthly newsletters and counseling; all at no charge. HOPE's purpose is to offer support, understanding, coping strategies, friendship and hope to the bereaved, as well as education, consultation and resources for their families, friends, employers, school/daycare staff, co-workers and invested professionals.
All funds raised from the Remembrance Run/Walk for HOPE will go directly to HOPE For Bereaved to help with the continuation of support services HOPE provides to the local community.
