Get off the pavement and into the woods for the All American Trail Trek 5K, the signature event of the All American Trail Trek Series!

This 5K takes runners through the beautiful wooded grounds of Camp CILCA, a 235-acre property featuring established hiking trails, mature trees, rolling terrain and the kind of natural setting that makes trail running special.

Expect a true change of pace from a traditional road 5K. You'll run beneath the trees, follow winding trails through the property and experience one of central Illinois' most inviting outdoor settings. Deer are common around the grounds, along with plenty of other woodland wildlife, so don't be surprised if you have a few spectators watching from the trees.

The course is designed to be enjoyable for both competitive runners and recreational participants. Run it hard, settle into a comfortable trail pace, or simply enjoy being outdoors on a September morning.

Part of the All American Trail Trek Series
The All American Trail Trek is a three-event series designed to encourage runners to get outside, explore different courses and keep moving throughout the season.

If you participated in either the Abe Lincoln Trail Trek or the Freedom Run and you complete this 5K you earn a one of kind mug designed for this years series.  

If you complete all three events and you'll also be entered into the drawing for a Garmin Forerunner 165 at this time only 18 runners are eligible for the drawing.

The All American Trail Trek 5K is the signature event of the series and a great opportunity to finish your Trail Trek season on one of the area's most enjoyable trail-running courses.
