Sadly, the suicide rate among Veterans in Carbon County is one of the highest in the country. Together With Veterans (NEPA) is a Jim Thorpe area charitable organization that empowers Veterans to lead community-based and evidence-informed planning efforts to address Veteran suicide locally and discuss implementation strategies. They are an amazing organization that accomplishes a great deal with a very limited budget. The strength and integrity of their people and the purity of their mission are truly second-to-none.
My goal is to raise $500 (in addition to a portion of race proceeds). 100% of all donations will go to Together With Veterans.
