Old Fort Strong Endurance Festival

Please help me in my effort to raise money with the Old Fort Strong Endurance Fest, a 6 hour race (or longer - read on!) running race designed to raise funds to rebuild the home and families in Old Fort, NC - one of the most special places on earth to myself and my family.

This fund is dedicated to helping support community members in Old Fort who have lost their homes or had significant damage to their homes and will not receive any help to pay for rebuilding from insurance.  Due to the massive flooding that took place outside of historic flood zones, many homes did not have flood insurance to cover this cost.  In total 50+ homes were lost in McDowell County alone, let alone the numerous structures that were damaged from Old Fort all the way up to Linville Falls.  The fund goal is to reach $2,000,000 in funds to help those in the Old Fort area to rebuild and restore their homes and families.  

My goal is to hit $20K in donations.  If I do, I will flip from the 6 hour event ot the 12 hour event (the longest in the race format this year).  And along the way, random and highest contributing donors will have chances to choose gear, speed, pacers, food choices, and MORE.  If I'm gonna suffer for a cause, I want to remember that y'all are there with me in spirit!  Keep an eye out on donor updates for details as the race gets closer.  

Help me build the Old Fort Strong Fund to hit 2 MILLION dollars (we're at $1.7 currently!).  I know most of the people reading this have been turning themselves inside out to help rebuild WNC this last 12 months, but if you can find energy and resources to help, all these funds will go to those in need.
