TLC's moto is Don't COUNT the miles...make the miles COUNT! Each year I choose to run Disney's Princess Half Marathon race weekend with a charity to make my miles count.
I chose Teaching & Learning Collaborative this year because our teachers need the help and recognized for all the things they do for our kids. As a parent of a child that has always struggled with math, being offered free resources to help them learn is amazing.
About Teaching & Learning Collaborative
As a nonprofit organization their mission is to provide innovative professional development and resources for teachers, students and families in PreK-Grade 12. Proceeds from their RunDisney events support programs and resources created by TLC. Currently, one focus is their Math Camp-In resources that are free to use. They're really focused on trying to get 10,000 of their Math Camp-In family engagement backpacks into the hands of families. These contain one of two board games they have created to help families have fun doing math!!
