Give adults with disabilities the essentials they need to thrive in their first home.

Your gift helps adults with disabilities achieve independent living by providing essential household items—things state funding cannot cover—so that an empty apartment becomes a true home.

For many adults with disabilities, moving into their own home for the first time is an exciting and life-changing step. Independent community living offers freedom, dignity, and belonging—but too often, people move into apartments without even the basics needed to create a safe and comfortable home.

State funding provides for care and housing supports, but it does not cover the essentials that make independent living possible—like furniture, cleaning supplies, and everyday household items. That’s where your generosity makes a life-changing difference.

Your contribution will directly provide:

$50 – a vacuum cleaner to keep a home clean and healthy
$100 – a table and chairs for meals, activities, and connection with friends and family
$150 – storage solutions for DVDs, CDs, or personal belongings that bring comfort and familiarity
$250 – basic home furnishings to transform a space into a warm, welcoming environment

These aren’t just “things.” They are the foundation for confidence, independence, and dignity. With your support, adults with disabilities can truly thrive in their community—living not just in a house, but in a home.
