Ashton has loved becoming a Zilker Panther this year and wants to do his part to keep the amazing programs and resources that benefit the entire Zilker community.
Since he has no checkbook, this is where you come in. He runs laps around the track and you pledge some dollars!
Zilker uses the donations to help bridge an enormous gap in Texas public school funding.
How does the money raised help Zilker Elementary?
-Helps pay the salary of the school’s in-house counselor;
- Funds the school’s garden program;
- Funds teacher and staff appreciation efforts;
- Supports art, music, and PE classroom supplies and educational resources;
- Funds $200 per teacher mini grants;
- Funds campus improvements such as painting, repairs and grounds beautification;
- Supports literacy, math, and arts programs and events.
