Cereal City Athletics has partnered with some of the area's best ice cream shops to give you a memorable (and tasty) riding experience! The BC Ice Cream Century is a metric century, or 62 miles, suitable for riders of all abilities. Not quite ready for the full ride? There are also two shorter routes available. The single scoop offers 2 ice cream stops, while the Snack Pack is an round trip ride to one location. On-hand bike support and a tasty post-ride meal are provided for all riders. The BC Ice Cream Century is a must to kick start the summer!

Participants will check-in and start from the Trek Store Battle Creek (22 West Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49015). Check-in will vary depending on the route chosen. Riders must check-in at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled start time. This event is not timed, and is not a race. Riders will be given route information, as well as tickets for each ice cream stop at check-in.
For complete route information and ride maps, please CLICK HERE. The course will be thoroughly marked and color coded for the single scoop, double scoop, and snack pack riders. This is not a closed route, and riders are therefore advised to exercise caution and display safe riding etiquette.
The double scoop route is 62 miles. The single scoop route is 40 miles.
The Double Scoop route will include stops at Station 66, Turkeyville and Lickity Split. The Single Scoop will include stops at Station 66 and Turkeyville. NEW this year, the double scoop route will also include a stop at Dark Horse Commons for a special ice cream flavor treat! Each ice cream stop will have a specified menu for riders to choose from as part of their registration. Riders are responsible for any additional purchases they may choose to make. We would advise riders to not get your ice cream to go, as it makes quite the mess in your jersey pocket....we've tried.
Single Scoop riders will have the pleasure of sampling some of Station 66s finest flavors (or opt for their infamous donuts instead) as well as Lickity Split.
Snack Pack riders will ride a scenic loop out to Lickity Split and back. (This is a common route for the Monday night ice cream ride hosted by the Trek Bicycle Store).
The Trek Bicycle Store is helping to provide bike support and a sag wagon. The sag wagon will be used for those who cannot complete the ride due to severe mechanical bike issues. It is not to be used for those that are too tired to finish the route. Cereal City Athletics will also have additional vehicles on the route for needed assistance.
For added support and to make sure riders are accounted for, there will be volunteers checking you in at each stop. Please do not skip a stop without letting a volunteer know or we will be looking for you!
If stuffing your face with sweet, cold goodness was not enough, you will be greeted at the finish with a post-ride meal that is included with your registration. Again, we will be checking all riders in at the finish. If you do not plan to stay, please check-in to let us know you have made it back or we start calling....your mom, your sister, facebook stalking to make sure you are ok!
