Hello friends and family,
As most of you know, I started running 6 years ago and have never stopped. My first goal was to complete a 5K but never did I think that 6 years later, I would have 3 marathons under my belt or that I would want to travel the globe to run more.
This year I am partnering with a charity that is dear to my heart, Semper Fi & America’s Fund, to run the Berlin Marathon.
Semper Fi & America’s Fund is dedicated to providing immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to our nation’s critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families.
As the daughter of a Vietnam veteran and the proud mother of an Air Force Airman 1st Class, I truly believe that all of us owe the men and women that signed up to serve and protect our country during times of war and peace. Their sacrifices are what make this country great.
I appreciate any help you may be able to give. It is a worthwhile charity that will help so many servicemen and women.
