Bolt Drop 24

Starting Friday, December 31st, I’ll be logging 24 miles in 24 hours for Rock CF’s Bolt 24 Challenge! Please consider making a donation to this amazing foundation in Detroit! All proceeds go towards Rock CF programs like the Kicks Back program which provides running shoes and a race registration for CF patients in Michigan as well as nationwide. Exercise is an awesome way for patients to get their airway clearance in daily. Couldn’t be spending my day doing anything better than the two things I love, running and raising awareness for CF! ❤️🏃‍♀️

My Why: 
8 years ago the last of my cousins with CF started what would be his last hospital stay due to a routine exacerbation and what eventually turned into my last goodbye before his passing. Every year it makes me reflect on life a lot. I am beyond thankful to be able to work in CF daily and to give back to the community that has given so much to my family. A few years ago, I  joined the @letsrockcf Bolts Racing Team and fundraise in their honor yearly via the Bolt 24 challenge. I cannot express how much I miss those I’ve lost to CF, but I can thank them for always pushing me to be better for myself, for my CF patients, and the CF community! #breathedeeprunharder
